damn . i hate blue|oh, the irony…

It’s kinda frustrating when such an important apps such as Mail.app gets troubled you. In OS X 10.5, setting up emails Mail.app works perfectly, especially Gmail’s POP, but in OS X 10.7 the create-email wizard keep using IMAP, I just want to use POP. Somehow, after a couple of self-experiment, I managed to create Gmail POP account on OS X 10.7′s Mail.app, here we go:

1. Click “File” menu, then choose the “Add Account…”
2. Insert the required field, hold Option button on the keyboard, then the “Create” button will change to “Continue”, click it. If you dont hold the Option button, Mail will automatically setup your Gmail account with IMAP
3. Choose POP as the Account Type, change Incoming Mail Server to: “pop.gmail.com”, click Continue button
4. Tick on the “Use only this server”, and click Continue
5. Click Create button, after the new account succesfully created go to Mail Preferences… (Cmd+,) and click on “Accounts” tab
6. Choose the gmail account that you just created early, go to “Advanced” tab, and change the Port from 993 to 995, then untick the “Remove copy from server bla bla bla…  ”, close the Preferences window, and click the Save button to wrap things up!

And we’re done.

At the office, we recently developing some digital signage products, which requiring ActionScript to take part. So, here is a little code snippet of how to send GET/POST variables from AS3:

OS X Leopard (1.5.8) came with pre-installed Python 2.5, so, when you trying to add Python interpreters on Aptana Studio 3 by clicking the “Auto Config” button, you will get Python 2.5… of course :-p

I recenlty installed Kubuntu 10.10 to replace the magnificent Ubuntu 10.10, get bored with the UI only. As from my previous experiences on installing Ubuntu family OS, on installing Kubuntu 10.10 we need some tweaks to get things running well, such as: sound problem, Wi-Fi and VGA driver not present, fixing splash-screen, and of course… to disable KDE Destop Sharing everytime I starts my laptop. *sigh*

Jangan harap bisa bejoget seenaknya setelah berhasil install ruby1.9.2+rails3.0.0 ( cek cara install disini ), masih ada pekerjaan yang dibutuhkan buat menjalankan command rails pada terminal. Ndak ribet sih, tapi karena proses install ruby+rails yang mulai pagi dan akhirnya sukses pada malam harinya ( gugling-nya kurang sip >:) ), jadi ada error dikit langsung senewen :p

Singkat kata singkat cerita, setelah sukses instal rails ( $ sudo gem instal rails –version=3.0.0 ), diharuskan cek untuk memastikan instalasi sukses dengan eksekusi command: $ rails -v, tapi output yang keluar malah: /usr/bin/rails: /usr/bin/ruby1.9.1: bad interpreter: No such file or directory.
Solusinya, hapus file: rails pada direktori /usr/bin/ , karena yang dipanggil seharusnya pada direktori /usr/local/bin/, hapus juga file: bundle dan rake pada direktori yang sama.

Semenjak istri hamil (Alhamdulillah sekarang menginjak 5 bulan), jadi sering ngepel lantai di belakang rumah, apalagi sekarang hampir tiap sore ujan, jadi sering basah lantainya…

Juga sering teriak-teriak ke istri, “Sandalnya dipakeeee!!” :p

Juga rajin bikinin susu ibu hamil

Juga tiap bulan rajin ke bidan (kalo ini harus :p)

dan Juga-Juga yang lain…

Ada apa dengan fesbuk!? kok ndak boleh ndaftar ya?

Jadi keinget waktu acara pra-wisuda di kampus kira-kira setahun yang lalu… maju ke depan audience disuruh ngomong rencana-rencana ke depan. Waktu di depan sih asal ngerocos aja, ampe gak sadar yang diomongin apa, wekekekekeke… trus waktu sampe bagian perencanaan ke depan, ini yang tercurah dari pucuk mulut :

1. “Dalam waktu dekat ini saya mau cari kerja… setidaknya dalam waktu 1 bulan saya harus dapat pekerjaan”
2. “Kemudian dalam 2 tahun saya mau nikah… kasihan pacar saya, hehehehe”
3. “Dan dalam waktu 10 tahun, saya mau pensiun dini” -> yang ini ngawur tahap berat >:) , pasti gara-gara kebanyakan diprospek ama MLM! damn!

tapi…

ndak nyangka poin 1 ama 2 berjalan melebihi ekspektasi *bahasanya (-_-)’ …
Untuk poin 1, sebelum wisuda dimulai, mendadak ditelpon ama kantor tempat saya bekerja dan disuruh dateng kesono setelah wisuda bubar… sampe disono dibilang kalo mulai senen dah bisa masuk (wisuda hari sabtu), trus bunyi TINGG!! mission 1 accomplished!

trus di poin 2, hampir 1 tahun dari acara planning-planningan diatas, udah bisa nikahin anak orang ,  trus bunyi lagi TINGG!! mission 2 accomplished!

yang ketinggalan tinggal di poin 3 (-_-)’ … bisa ndak ya!? tapi… kalo bisa ya Alhamdulillah, kalo ndak ya tetep Alhamdulillah… lha wong dari 3 poin sudah 2 poin yang dikabulkan Allah SWT… Alhamdullillah…
